TRAINING CLASSES

INTRODUCTION:

Daily human survival and wellbeing constantly craves for solutions to unresolved Problems of life…just like the problem of widows being missed out of daily ministration at the Jerusalem church. This was the major reason that Workers were officially set apart in the Jerusalem local church of that era!

Acts 6:1, New Living Translation version, states, "But as the believers rapidly multiplied, there were rumblings of discontent. The Greek-speaking believers complained about the Hebrew-speaking believers, saying that their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food."

I began teaching The Ministry of Helps from February 1991 when God told me to ‘Go and Teach on and Beautify The Ministry of Helps’. HELPS, mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:28, refers to Ministry Work and Church Work…the daily duties performed by both Ministry and local Work Leaders, Workers and Employees within God's work. God designed HELPS to give the (called five-fold) Ministers and local Pastor Relief from distractive Ministry / Church Work, and Release to focus on core Ministry / Pastoral core duties (Acts 6:4)

HELPS MINISTRY TRAINING is inspired by God’s intention to transform your local church into a Haven, where members and visitors can find refuge and shelter from the harshness in the world’s system. A home base of encouragement through His word, where everyone is involved in creating systems to meet the needs of each other and visitors / seekers.

HELPS MINISTRY TRAINING: YOU ARE NEEDED!

“And he told the crowd to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and the two fish. He looked up toward heaven and blessed the food. Then he broke the bread and handed it to the disciples, and they gave it to the people.”   Matthew 14 v 19 (CEV) A little portion from VISION BUILDERS' “Understanding The Helps Ministry” Manual reads; “Had Jesus never appointed people to work with him, would we have anything left of the ministry of Jesus today? Had Paul never had men and women work with him, would we have had anything left of the ministry of Paul today?” It is amazing to us how this particular message, in both the manual and audio forms have blessed so many lives. After attending one of our seminars, this particular Pastor said to me, “Please come and tell my people 'You are important!' Everybody wants to know that he or she is important, and that they are vital for certain things to move smoothly. Even nature attests to this. Scientists say plants are sensitive...

TVB 156: 1. Understanding Your HELPS Ministry

Session 1: Pastors & Ministers Topic: Ministry Workforce Management "And when it was day, He called His disciples to Him; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles." (Luke 6:13) Next to money, the most important thing to the discerning man or woman is Time. Persons who understand the value of Time usually stand out as valuable workers in God's vineyard! In the same vein, their 'unavailability' can pose work challenges! As God's called Pastor or non-pastoral Minister it is your primary duty to find persons who can and will give due Time to perform the support duties or HELPS (1 Cor 12:28) required to fulfill what God called you to do. Certain factors are vital when recruiting people to work with you to fulfill your Pastoral or non-pastoral Ministry call.  HOW YOU CAN FIND THEM is my focus in this Ministry Workforce Management session!  1. Pay Attention To... a) God's Directions [in your heart and in His Word]: Particularly at the beg...

tVB 36: 2 HELPS MINISTRY TRAINING: CHURCH WORK & TEAM BUILDING LeadersTalk

"Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose. Luke 6:12-13 NKJV The Lord Jesus is our example in teamTbuilding. This was one of the very first things he did in ministry. You must realize that He had quite a large number of followers, but a time came when he handpicked disciples. In other words, he raised and built a team. Now, building and maintaining effective church workers' teams is a time consuming and sensitive process particularly in ministry where the pressures of the moment are often intense. Most attempts at ministry team building don't work well, simply because leaders and workers fail to appreciate the effort that has to be invested in time and attention to detail. The truth is, when done well, teamwork contributes considerably to greatly improved productivity and reduced costs in the local assembly. R...
