#1. The Ministry of HELPS Series

The journey began in March 1991 during my NYSC year at a village called Lissam, Takum, in Taraba State. God Called me to 'Teach On and Beautify The Ministry of HELPS.'

We Teach Believers how to effectively and efficiently work with Ministers and Pastors, through the Ministry of HELPS, to fulfil God's Calling.

As Leader or Worker, your involvement in the HELPS, within your Minister or local Pastor's Work, is a Need with Scriptural basis and Value.

1 Corinthians 12:28 declares, "And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, HELPS, administrations, varieties of tongues."

You are extremely significant to God for fulfilling your Minister or Pastor's Calling. This is what we'll be discussing as we go on.

God Bless

Understand God's Plan and Purpose. God set HELPS in the Body of Christ to provide AID, RELIEF and SUPPORT for the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. “Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, HELPS, administrations, varieties of tongues.” 1 Cor 12:27-28 God Bless! See yourself in God's picture. You are more than just a figure in the Ministry and Church's statistics. You are vital. Recognize your place. Your Minister or local Pastor will have a lot of difficulty fulfilling God's mandate without official Leaders and Members like you performing your Duties. Truth is, their productivity is already limited by their humanity! "The Body of Christ is not one part but many members. Every part is necessary!" Apostle Paul, 1 Corinthians 12:14-23 No Minister or Pastor is that powerful working alone! God Bless! http://helpsministrytraining.blogspot.com The Ministry of Helps by Tope A. Banjo (2013)

Did I hear you say , “I can rest in the pew and dream of heaven. My Pastor is superhuman… he knows everything… can do everything. After all he’s ‘anointed’. He’s perfect. He must be an angel. And he’s ….” Bla bla bla… When you closely examine Acts 6:1-4, you see there a crisis situation in the Church at Jerusalem, despite the revival and daily addition to the membership that they were experiencing! The truth is, revival and church growth also bring along potential for problems. As revival rose in Jerusalem, work load mounted and for once the anointed apostles of the Lamb could not cope. They could be efficient in serving tables daily, except at the expense of their primary call and God-given vision of prayer and the ministry of the word of God. They called a meeting and told the congregation, “Folks, we need your help with the daily ministrations and the serving of tables.” CHURCH MEMBERS …EMPOWERED HELPERS! Church members form the ministry of Helps. You are to assist your Pas...
