#12. The MINISTRY OF HELPS Series

“Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.” And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner; for he said, “Because the LORD has sworn: the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.” Exodus 17:14-16, NKJV.

When Amalek brought battle in Rephidim, Israel would have been exterminated if the battle had depended on Moses alone.

God ruled the day using Moses, Aaron, Hur, Joshua and the soldiers together, but in different ways. Everyone fought, but God won!

You're not that powerful all by yourself!

“But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 1 Corinthians 12:21-22

We are members of one another. Each with a different function. You are a part of a Body. No member of the Body of Christ is that powerful standing alone!

God Bless!

Understand God's Plan and Purpose. God set HELPS in the Body of Christ to provide AID, RELIEF and SUPPORT for the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. “Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, HELPS, administrations, varieties of tongues.” 1 Cor 12:27-28 God Bless!  There's More @ http://helpsministrytraining.blogspot.com Culled from The MINISTRY OF HELPS by Tope A. See yourself in God's picture. You are more than just a figure in the Ministry and Church's statistics. You are vital. Recognize your place. Your Minister or local Pastor will have a lot of difficulty fulfilling God's mandate without official Leaders and Members like you performing your Duties. Truth is, their productivity is already limited by their humanity! "The Body of Christ is not one part but many members. Every part is necessary!" Apostle Paul, 1 Corinthians 12:14-23 No Minister or Pastor is that powerful working alone! God Bless! http://helpsministrytraining.blogspot.com The Ministry of Helps by Tope A. Banjo (2013)

tVB 1:2 HELPS MINISTRY TRAINING: THE HELPS MINISTRY WORKERSTalk

Did I hear you say , “I can rest in the pew and dream of heaven. My Pastor is superhuman… he knows everything… can do everything. After all he’s ‘anointed’. He’s perfect. He must be an angel. And he’s ….” Bla bla bla… When you closely examine Acts 6:1-4, you see there a crisis situation in the Church at Jerusalem, despite the revival and daily addition to the membership that they were experiencing! The truth is, revival and church growth also bring along potential for problems. As revival rose in Jerusalem, work load mounted and for once the anointed apostles of the Lamb could not cope. They could be efficient in serving tables daily, except at the expense of their primary call and God-given vision of prayer and the ministry of the word of God. They called a meeting and told the congregation, “Folks, we need your help with the daily ministrations and the serving of tables.” CHURCH MEMBERS …EMPOWERED HELPERS! Church members form the ministry of Helps. You are to assist your Pas...
